wendecat:: This is the best jigsaw puzzle site I've come across so it's pretty sad how it's down for me a lot. I love you whoever made this.

Bariboy252841:: (1) First the site hasn,t improved when it switched to HTML5. B i don't think it wil get better then it is now. We accept it or leave this site for wat it is... (2) There is a specific order in starting a new puzzle and get is saved and added to your score. 1-log out ◘ 2-start a puzzle and make a bookmark to continu later ◘ log in again. Then wil been able to continu later and the score will be added. I use Google Chrome as a browser, completed 46 puzzles since it switched to HTML.

Jim:: just completed another. exited the site to get my new score and find that I not only lost my score but but it had also be deleted. what is going on.

Jim:: Thankyou. I was of the opinion that was only the case with reference to the main picture and not attached to it. Will give it a try next time round.

Bariboy252841:: All connected pieces are saved. Connect one of the non-descript pieces you moved from the side panel to the workfield. The alle the loose pieces stay in the workfield. Done this many times, always worked. There is always one piece of the non descript pieces which you can connect.

Jim:: why is it when you are getting towards completion , when left with all the non-descript pieces and after you have moved them all from the side panel out and placed them around the main picture , you then exit the site which states " all pieces are saved". upon returning to the puzzle and find them back in the side panel. this has occurred more times than I can mention. is this meant to happen.

gandalfrp:: Bariboy is right, you need to connect at least two pieces, I had already noticed this. However, when I tried to exit, the puzzle appeared by itself in "your beginning puzzle" and not in the collection of my userid. This morning, for unknown reasons, the thing worked (no change in the procedure) and the puzzle appeared in my collection. Strange behaviour anyway.

Bariboy252841:: First, there are no puzzle over a 1000 pieces anymore. The number of pieces shown doesn't match with the real number of pieces. - I load a puzzle logged out. - Then i log in in a new tab. - When you drag pieces from the side to workfield, make sure you connect at least one piece. Otherwise everything you have done will be gone. Maybe this last thing is the thing you are missing... It really important to connect a piece, after dragging piece to the workfield. But in general the working of the site since it switched to HTML5 is not very impressive. But i don't expect any improvements anymore.

gandalfrp:: Apparently I am missing something. I use Chrome also. If I log in and try to load a new puzzle, I get a black screen and that's it. If I load a new puzzle while not logged in, the puzzle is loaded (slowly, but this is "normal"). When I exit, everything is lost, and the pèuzzle does NOT appear in "your beginning puzzles" collection. Also logging in in another tab, nothing changes. What am I doing wrong? As per the numnber of pieces, I believe that if takes an eternity to load about 1000 pieces, it will take two eternities to load 2000 pieces...

Bariboy252841:: @Gandalfrp Ik works with me for months, maybe the browser the problem? I use Google Chrome. @ahdistus The number of pieces is unfortunately not correct anymore. The real big ones are gone, i don't think they will return. Or bigpuzzle.net wil change this, but i doubt it. They are quite lazy in improving their site.

ahdistus:: For me it works, i just have to wait for quite a while for it to load completely. One thing i do have a problem with is that if there's a puzzle with max of 2914 pieces, i only have the option to play a puzzle that is max 850 pieces

gandalfrp:: Still not working. Loading new puzzle only works without logging in, but then puzzle is not saved, even logging in in another tab. Again, am I the only one with this problem?

jimbokea:: It went off at about 1pm NZ time. It is now 7.36pm NZ time and back on -was off still around 5pm

jimbokea:: This site is starting to get annoying. I live in NZ and quite often are working on a puzzle in the afternoon only to discover everything I did was not saved as site was off line - yet the time keeps going. Can someone fix this or is there a shut down time each day?

Bariboy252841:: It works indeed, but magnifying is less good then bigpuzzle.net. For me a bit of a problem, because of age... But they are working on the magnifying.

MMM:: you can use the windows magnifier to magnify your puzzle, not so elegant, but works.

Bariboy252841:: https://www.jigsawexplorer.com/ Can be a alternative, i'm trying it now. See if it works. -Rotation option -Large number of pieces - But no Zoom option, but they are working on it

Bariboy252841:: www.jigsawplanet.com has rotation option, but no puzzle with a large number of pieces and no images of castles or landscapes.

Bariboy252841:: Could be a alternative, but no rotation option for the pieces. Because of that less challenging... So far i haven't found a jigsaw puzzle site woth a rotation option for the pieces. Bigpuzzle.net is the only one so far.
